The thetas at UNL are 1. Smart, ranking 3rd in GPAs among all Panhellenic sororities. 2. Outgoing, welcoming to girls in other houses and have a strong social scene 3. Involved, with many, if not all members involved in at least one other organization on campus 4. Service oriented through their efforts to volunteer and serve the Lincoln community. All the nasty, untrue ratings on here are simply from envious people who did not receive a bid or were terminated because these girls are truly one of a kind leaders on campus.

Great variety of personalities! This house is one of the few that doesn’t have a “type” persay. They have a ton of great women and volunteer opportunities!

the wannabe sorority… they all have dads who would pay for them to be in a music video. they’re somewhat nice to eachother but do not have a good relationship with other chapters on campus

yeah chi o is a great sorority. Definitely on top with a phi. Those 2 are the most competitive houses to get into on campus. They are smart and classy but more recently know how to party more. Honestly I like chi os and I’ve been in their house a couple of times before and everyone gets along well. Everyone is friends with everyone and they have very diverse pledge classes as far as personality types go. I’d say chi o is one of the few sororities that is as great as they make themselves out to be.

Yeah I mean it’s a decent sorority, it’s pretty mid, not top tier but not a terrible one to join if you fit in well enough. Their recruitment tactics are very manipulative and they try to make you cry during Philanthropy round - don’t fall for it if you’re rushing. They are good conversationalists, can party, and are smart but they aren’t very nice girls and if you aren’t extremely liberal and kind of a mean girl, no shot you’ll fit in there. On the bright side I have a couple of g phi acquaintances and they seem to like it alright. They aren’t gung-ho about g phi I’d say they’re pretty indifferent about their sorority choice. They just aren’t nice in my opinion and they’re not even a top sorority so they have no reason to act and recruit the way they do.

I was a Theta that deactivated senior year, along with 8 others. The sisterhood isn't what they make it out to be and a lot of the girls are fake and party animals, putting little effort into grades. My final two houses were Aphi and Theta my freshman year...wish I would have pledged Aphi.

Definitely had a rough year last year with everything but they are truly abunch of great guys... I think they will have a bounce back year!!

I’m going to be totally honest, this is the bottom sorority. However, I’ve met girls that I like in this sorority way better than most. They aren’t stuck up at all. While a few are socially award, many of them are super sweet girls who are so fun to talk to. A lot of out of state people end up here because in state people get into the higher ones. Honestly, I wish I would have joined this sorority because the one I’m in parties too much for me. They also did not cover up COB like other sororities, which I highly respect!

Very nice girls who are willing to do stuff with other sororities! They seem to be one of the more drama free sororities. Some girls in this sorority are big party animals, but many aren’t. Definitely genuine when you talk to them.
