why are "owls", "oz", castle, etc "top" frats here?

Transferred here from a bigger state school at the beginning of the fall semester and been rushing a bit.

I've met some dope kids, but what makes some of these places cool or "top tier"? Penn's different for sure, but a lot of the kids in these frats are just... weird? The awkward type that can't hold a conversation or shotgun a beer with you for the hell of it.

Maybe I haven't found the right spots but want to have an idea of what the social scene is like before open rush.

Just go to other places during open rush and you’ll find them. This website is whack but you’ll find what you’re looking for

Penn is def weird and different but it’s also the history associated with the orgs too.
