why is phi delt considered good

Alright I've been at this school over two years now, and no one I know or I can figure out why Phi Delt is considered good. They don't throw bangers other than band party and haven't had a good pc in years. Sorority relations, while important, seem to be the only thing they have and I'm not even sure how they are on that this year. Do they just spam this website more than anyone else?
Disclaimer: not in SAE because i know that'll be the first response. Might seen lame to make a post like this but I'm genuinely curious.

Phi delt is different than a lot of other fraternities in that they throw few large scale parties for people other than the brothers, mostly mixers (but with top sororities). While the most recent class was really small the dudes are still cool and the rest of the classes are as well. If you think kids from theos or castle would be cool at any regular school you'd be mistaken. Phi delt is one of the few strongholds (the others being As and sae) of relatively waspy kids that would actually be in decent fraternities at larger schools with a higher percentage of socially adept students

they throw really good parties, they're just very exclusive and usually not just for random freshman and weirdos to come to. they have great relations with tri delt theta and oax and also do a lot of mixers and fun smaller events too.
As for the brotherhood, this is probably the closest group of actual cool kids at penn. for example, theos is a bunch of sceney kids that were very weird in high school and then got cool at penn because of throwing good giant parties. phi delt is your traditional american frat full of kids that could be in top frats at any sec big 10 etc school. they're less douchey than As and the brothers are actually considerably cooler/actually like each other, they just have less money so they dont throw as big/as many parties.

Phi Delt is a solid frat, but not as good as they try to make themselves out to be.
First, they have some cool guys who were genuinely liked in high school. As a result, they have decent relations with some good sororities. Second, they have unique events.
On the flip side, it is a well known fact that they post on this site often and strongly focus on their image. As a result, many posts here put them higher than they should be (some even put them on the same level as Theos and As which is absurd).
Overall Phi Delt used to be a great frat. Nowadays they still have some solid guys bit are mainly viewed as going downhill.

How are they going downhill when they continue to get fall classes of cool athletes from Lacrosse and Baseball? Their Spring PC was definitely small, though not as small as people thought because they had some athletes ghost. Like with their juniors, they're adding kids in the fall and will have 15-20 brothers in each year.

Don't know where you're getting your info from. Their fall class did not have a single baseball kid and only had two lacrosse kids (the actual cool lacrosse kids were interested in As). Their spring class had 8 kids, half of whom literally could not get bids from any other frats.

The fact that these comments have so many likes answers the original question. Phi Delt runs this site. The post coming to their defense got 54 likes in one hour. Think about that.
Take this site out of the picture for a second. Phi Delt has not thrown a good party in three years (my time at penn). Their coolest class is their seniors. They have not been able to get a full pledge class the past two years.
