I don't know about all the houses, but Tri Delta, Gamma Phi, Pi Phi, and Kappa welcomed girls of African American ancestry. I would imagine they weren't "trying" to pledge girls with that ancestry -- they were just trying to pledge those girls. Perhaps that was the difference...

Let's show some Panhellenic love and stop hating on everyone else's pledge class. Everyone thinks their sorority is the best, and that's the way it should be.. no reason to bring other people down.

It all depends on who YOU are. If you're looking for involvement but no sisterhood and totally superficial girls, Theta and Kappa would tie for first. TriDelt is trying hard to top them but will always be third in that list. GPB is an up and comer and has nice girls. ChiO and PiPhi are no where near the houses they once were and are now strong mid tier. The Alpha houses are true sisterhoods regardless of what others say. DG has also a nice sisterhood. That's the truth.

Sorry but I don't get why tiers matter. I'm in what is considered to be a "top house" but I don't take pride in that. I like my sisters because they are like me and we all get along so well. The tier doesn't change that. In reality no woman holds more value than the next. So let's stop trying to put labels on these girls that are so much more than a stereotype.
