I’m gonna keep it real here. I know everyone argues who is best and what matters most but in reality OU’s Greek system is amazing. The days of there being a top 5 and then all the rest is gone. Granted, there are a couple houses that stand above the rest...kappa and theta. Grades absolutely matter but that is far from the only factor in what makes a house. USing, homecoming, CAC, Panhellenic, Soonerthon, Scandals, grades, etc all make up the OU Greek system.
PNM’s need to go through recruitment and see for themselves and not pay attention to the very small percentage who are on here spreading hate. I see posts blaming certain houses for things when in reality NOBODY knows who is behind these posts...which is how they can bully and get away with it. Let’s stop and spread Pan Love rather than tear each other down. Aren’t we supposed to be better than that?
I have gone on OSU’s page to see if the same stuff is happening there and it’s not. Or if it is, it is very little. The hate on here is so bad. So let’s stop being hateful and support each chapter so our Greek system continues to get better and better. When every house is strong we are all strong. Go Greek!

I would not say Kappa & Theta “stand above the rest”. Not bashing them. I would say those two recruit differently. Kappa seems to rely heavily on connections and their alumni connections. They probably have 85% of their pref invites determined before recruitment even starts. Theta always does well in grades. Anyone coming in with less than a 3.5 is probably a grade risk for them (could be even higher). I am not a Kappa or a Theta. I have friends who are awesome in both. And no one talks about membership selection. So these are just guesses based on my observations the past few years.
The rest of this post is spot on.
In short. One group isn’t any better than another group in the end. Just a few have a focus or type during recruitment. After recruitment nobody even cares. The difference between any of the sororities on campus is small. Each has hundreds of girls of all types. Some seem to have a type. But even then that is a small proportion of the whole. Don’t listen to anything negative. Keep an ear out for the positive!
