How do other sororities even find out if one particular sorority really wants you? And why would they cut you based on an assumption that you're gonna choose that house?

They have already seen your social media, so if pictures exist, they already know you have friends in other houses. Might not matter, but it might.

Also alumni talk! They talk with each other. They compare notes. It is not uncommon for one sorority to call the other when finalizing bid lists. No sense bidding a girl when she prefers another house.

Tell both pref houses that you want them, so that they'll both put you on their first bid list.

If you're lucky enough to be invited back to 2 prefs, don't make the mistake of texting or telling anyone which one you put first. You can tell the sorority you want the most at their party that you really want them, though.

Actives are NOT supposed to text the actives after final Pref rankings, but it happens all the time. They text around and ask roommates, boyfriends, even pnms themselves what they preffed first. Don't fall for it, and don't respond to any texts that are fishing for your information. It will come out soon enough on Bid Day!
