grade risks

by: hottytoddy

if 2000 girls are rushing and quota is 160-170, that means 1600-1700 girls will get bids. are the 300-400 who don't get bids generally grade risks? will these girls all just go alpha phi?

Some may also be reputation risks. A few will be those super awkward girls who just don't really fit in any house.

Most of the girls who get dropped will end up in alpha phi. When adpi colonized a few years ago, they took over 300 girls in their first pledge class.

A 3.0 used to mean you were safe... But things are a lot more competitive these days. There are hundreds of pretty, connected girls with 3.3+ gpa's. In my opinion, a 3.3 is what you need to be 100% safe from being cut for grades.

What about a 2.9 unweighted? How many houses would cut me?

A few years ago you would have been safe with these.

It is very likely you will be cut by everyone unless your are literally amazing in every way possible and have strong connections
