Why would you ask this question? Aloha phi is brand new to ole miss! Nobody has ever gone through formal recruitment with them before.

Adpi said they cut lots of girls when they colonized, but we can't imagine what for. They blanket bid like 300 girls.

When picking girls for a new colony, Alpha Phi will be looking for lots of things:
-a pretty even distribution of girls from all 4 classes
-a mix of OOS and Miss girls
-few to no grade risks, girls across a variety of majors
-upperclassmen who are already involved in top campus activies, upperclassmen who are leaders. Good reputation & leadership potential as the 1st ExBoard will be from this group
-athletes, dancers, singers, creative/artistic girls so they can be competitive in Greek events and rush
-girls who meet the values and morals of the national sorority

The people from nationals who conduct rush will have a good understanding of Ole Miss culture and try to pick a group of girls who are ready to work hard to establish the house on campus in a positive way. They won't take everyone who is interested if they are smart. Quality over quantity.

To further answer your question, specific reasons they would cut:
-they have already decided they want to take (For example) 90 sophomores and you did not make their top 90 list.
-you are a grade risk
-you have a bad reputation and they found out about it. Or an alumna wrote a "no" rec for you. You can bet the women here conducting rush will be looking at Insta, FB, etc just like the chapters do
-there are too many dancers or business majors or whatever and you didn't make the top list
Etc
