How bad does it suck to not have season tickets? Will I have to resort to sitting alone in my dorm to watch the games?

Lots of freshman end up not getting student tickets. You will still go to the grove and tailgate, but instead of going into the game, just keep tailgating. There will be other freshman from your dorm who don't have tickets either.

Also, a lot of people sell their student ID, which has the ticket on it, on game days. If there's a game you really want to go to, ask around and chances are you can find someone selling their ticket for $100 or so.
