sororities and hometowns

Obviously 50% or more are from Mississippi. This is the university of Mississippi after all!

For a real good answer, go look at the make up of the entire student body. Our sororities reflect these numbers.

There are girls from all over in every house, but some are more diverse than others!

Chi O- Very Mississippi. They get a lot of girls from Jackson, but have some from other places throughout the US as well (mainly Texas or Tennessee)
Tri Delt- Also lots of Mississippi! They pick from the same places as Chi O, but take a different type of girl (more outgoing, etc.)
KD- Still lots from Mississippi, but they have a lot more oos girls. Mainly Texas/the south.
DG- Similar to KD with location. Same situation as with tri delt/chi o, their girls come from the same places but are very different.
Kappa- LOTS of Texas girls (seems like more than other houses), and some from the north as well.
Phi Mu- Traditionally, they've been very southern, but their newer pledge classes are very diverse. They have girls from the north (Illinois, Missouri) and out west (California), plus a ton from all over the south too.
Aopi- Mostly northern girls, and lots from the east coast (specifically the New England area). Tons from the midwest and way out west too. Also some southern girls.
Pi Phi- It seems like most of the Illinois girls go here. Also tons of Texas and Florida.
Theta- Anywhere. Usually out of state, really far away. You don't usually see Thetas from Mississippi, and if you do there's a reason why.
Adpi- Same as Theta. Girls who came from too far away w/o connections or were blacklisted.
