For the picture include with our rec letters, what kind of picture should it be? Like a typical senior hs yearbook pic?

Send your best picture. Some houses ask for two pictures, so I recommend sending a "waist-up" shot and then a picture that would show your personality. Senior pictures are your best bet. DO NOT SEND A SELFIE YOU TOOK ON YOUR iPHONE!

No cap and gown or prom pictures. If you had some nice informal photos made your senior year and you haven't made a dramatic change to your appearance, that would do. You should be the only one in the photo. No props or unusual outfits. You don't want to be known as "Feathered boa" girl or rainbow hair girl. The main point of the photo is to help the actives recognize you when you walk up their sidewalk.
