Even if they are not involved, you should ask. If they don't know anything about Greek Life, they will know someone who will.

Their will be a table set up before Rebel Yell and Greek Life will be there for you to ask questions . I went to orientation in early June and met the nicest leaders . I was not worried about if they were in a sorority ,I was focused on making friends and bonding with my new classmates. The sorority girls are everywhere so be careful of what you say and do !!!! Have fun and make lots of new friends with incoming freshmen and orientation leaders.

SO! I had this orientation leader. She was SOOOO cute and just gosh damn hilarious. I was always crackin up. I kept askin what sorority she was in but she wouldn't tell me (boo). However, I heard lots of rumors that shes a delta delta delta. orientation was great. I can't WAIT TO BE AN OLE MISS REBEL!!!! HOTTY TODDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They try to remain neutral so they don't influence girls one way or another. It is important to them that you don't form an opinion of their sorority based on you just meeting them.
They also don't want the orientation discussion centered around greek life. Remember that over half of your orientation group will have no desire to rush a sorority or fraternity.
Just have fun at orientation without going overboard trying to meet actives. Trust me on this one! I met so many girls in my orientation group. One or two of them ended up in my pledge class, but most of them ended up in other sororities. We are all still good friends and I wouldn't trade our orientation experiences for anything!
Remember, you will be living in the dorms for 6 weeks before rush even begins. You will need to make as many friends as possible at orientation to make these 6 weeks amazing!

I feel like if you go active hunting during orientation it just looks tacky and everyone is gonna know what you're up too. My orientation is coming up and I wanna enjoy it, not freak out over rush week. Maybe I will make connections, maybe I won't.

Orientation is so much fun! Don't blow it by trying too hard to make friends with actives. Just do what is fun, and let the rest fall into place naturally!
