You won't find xo or ddd on this site. Both those sororities fine their members for coming on here. My roommate freshman year actually had to bring her computer to chapter and they looked at the history of every single girl!

kd is allowed to come on here and you hear from them quite a bit.

oh good. now I'm sure every PNM on this site wants to pledge Chi O or Tri Delt. Way to make them sound bad by calling them out for what the fine for. Although it's true and ridiculous, calling them out was unnecessary. and I'm sure they still end up on this site anyways.

I believe they do! I've heard from more than one girls that the totally check laptops and phones.

Why in the world would they take the time to go through the history of 400 girls computers?????? Besides it being such a complete waste of time, that is such an invasion of privacy! I would feel insecure if 400 other people looked at my internet history even if it was only Facebook or Pinterest or something like that! Not to mention how freaking easy it is to clear your search history.

Are you kidding? It happens all the time. If a picture or a video or something else is being passed around campus that shows my sorority in a bad light, we are told to delete them from our phones and computers. 400 girls won't see our browsing history, but the officers and advisors sure will, usually on our way out the door after chapter. This website is one of the no no's of several sororities. They don't check our iPads, so some girls will use those, but not very often.

Membership in a sorority is a privilege. You don't have to join if you don't want to, but if you do join, there will have to be rules to follow, or fines to be assessed.

Can you explain this a little more? Like will they bring up the incident in chapter and just make everyone leave their computers and phones behind and they go through all of them and give them back when they're done? They just say "take your passwords off" and they go through your pictures and your internet history? I'm not trying to be nosy but I want to be prepared for things like this! I never dreamed of something like this happening. But it does make sense now that I think about it.

If girls in sororities rarely get on this website because of those rules, then who are all the people posting on here all the time?

Only a few sororities really care what their girls do.

Only a few monitor computer activities.

I've hear that there are sororities that will send out an announcement like "everybody bring their computers to chapter tonight". You don't leave it there. Sororities don't look at everything. But officers and advisors know what they are looking for.

It's not so much an invasion of privacy, it's more a way to protect the entire chapter.

In my sorority all your social media pages and blogs will be monitored.

I'm sorry but that's just nuts. I have never been asked to bring my computer/phone to chapter for them to check. Our actions/behavior/social media is checked daily, but my chapter would never go as far as to look at my personal browsing history. That's a total invasion of privacy
