swaps

When going through rush, every fraternity tells lies to rushees about swaps. The most common lie is "we swap with every sorority", when in fact, many fraternities don't have any swaps at all.

These are the fraternities that don't swap and you should stay away from

sigma pi
beta
delta psi
phi tau (?)
chi psi
pi kapp

all of the rest of the fraternities have around 3-5 swaps.

What is a swap and why is it important

What the hell is a swap? I've seen it mentioned browsing Ole Miss and Bama's pages. I go to Texas, but from what I gather it's essentially the same as what we call mixers. It's blowing my mind how any fraternity could not have what I'm assuming is a mixer when Ole Miss has an unusually low number of fraternities anyway, and the smallest ones would eclipse top chapters at directional schools.

i was a sigma pi plege last year before I dropped and they lied to me and said they would have swaps. They didn't have any swaps.

sigma pi recently had a swap with ADPi but they were unable to get swaps with other sororities because the girls didn't want them
