dirty rushing

Most houses just rush girls they really want. KD is the only house with a bad reputation of dirty rushing.

Lots of girls hate them because they think they're in and then find themselves cut.

KD is known for dirty rushing, a lot of girls think that they are in but then they get cut after the first round. It happens a lot and KD has a bad reputation about this more than any other house.
We try not to dirty rush girls because in the end it hurts a lot of girl's feelings and it's not fair to make a girl close minded before rush starts. It is really hard to love a girl and not talk about rush and your sorority because there's a fine line between a normal conversation about rush and pushing your sorority in a PNM's face.

I actually had a KD alumni purchase me and my friends alcohol. She promised all of us bids. Actually told us that she had already purchased us "happies" for bid day.

Only 2 of the 6 of us received bids. The rest of us were cut after skit.

The two girls who did receive bids do nothing but complain about how much they hate KD.

that is so mean to get someone's hopes up but also enforces the importance of keeping an open mind. I will definitely be wary of KD now.

I have 2 aunts who were KDs and lots of recs and support letters. I'm glad I'm reading this so I don't get my hopes up either. Thank goodness I have connections in other sororities .
