If you are a girl and plan on going through sorority rush, jump start can either make you or break you! Remember that rush teams will be on campus and out at the bars watching! If you go crazy with the alcohol, like a lot if girls do, you could ruin your chances of receiving a bid.
On the other hand, if you behave and make friends, it could really help you!

It's a great way to make friends and start off with good grades. Classes are pretty easy.
