Is it weird when pmns follow actives on social media or friend request them?
And what does it mean if actives do this to pmns?

Have you read any if the posts on this page, or did you think your question was unique?

Don't ask to follow actives unless you know them personally. It will come across as trying too hard. Accept requests from actives even if you don't know them if are are interested in their sorority. Somebody gave them your name and asked them to connect with you. (Likely a friend of theirs or an alumni).

I know it's a double standard, but this is how things are viewed.

I've had girls friend request me when they bought my dorm stuff . I was glad so we could work things out ,like payment and delivery. Also , Some girls add actives because of family connections.

Those are special circumstances. But if a PNM just decided to follow an active without knowing the active at all, that's looks like they're trying too hard.
You had to be friends with the PNMs on social media to make things easier, so it wasn't random when they friend requested you. But if that wasn't the case, wouldn't it seem desperate?

ONLY request to follow actives that you personally know, or someone you have some sort of tie to!!!

NEVER request to follow some girls just because she is wearing sorority letters in her profile pic!!!!!
