facebook/instagram liking

I'm seeing conflicting info on here. I'm looking for THE TRUTH, from actives themselves.
Should I like facebook pages and instagram pages of each chapter on campus - or no?
I know not to follow girls before they follow me, but I'm talking specifically about the chapter pages. LET ME KNOW - if this will get me in trouble or will help my name get out there to actives

Agree! It's like showing up to pi phi on bid day and saying "ya know, I really wanted Tri Delt, but pi phi was cheaper."

1) People have to give up their top choice schools all the time for various reasons. That is why we have safety schools we will also be happy at.
2) Ole Miss is far one of the greatest schools in the nation. Yes, it is a great university that gives so many opportunities to their students, especially with scholarships, but they don't even crack the top 100 in the rankings. That doesn't mean it isn't a good school because it certainly is but it is no where near the prestige of UNC, Stanford, UPenn etc.
3) That post about Alabama wasn't even insulting. I have friends who are huge Auburn, MSU, and LSU fans but came to Ole Miss because they had better opportunities regarding scholarships and academics. I know quite a few people actually. All she was simply asking was that if it would actually hurt her for liking Alabama. If you got insulted by that, then you need to toughen up. Some people take things to personally on this website whether it is PNMs, actives, or alumni.

I think liking facebook pages is fine. Following sorority instagrams is a little weird. If I'm creeping on a pnm and I see she follows my sorority already, I usually laugh. Following actives is fine if you know of them and you think they'll know of you (we know most of you already). If you have mutual friends with an active, go ahead and follow them.

And the reason you are getting conflicting information is because your previous post was insulting to ole miss and we found it annoying that you asked such a stupid question!
Sorry, NOT SORRY, you can't go to bama! Most students at ole miss will agree. We gave up scholarships to other schools so we could attend the greatest university in the nation!
