Hey all! I'm really excited that I will be attending Ole Miss! I received a scholarship from the school and I need to go full time. My concern is that what happens if my classes conflict with rush week?
Should I just schedule early morning and early afternoon to stay on the safe side?

Rush rounds "parties" start at 4:30. All PNM's must be in the grove by 4 to receive your invite cards from your gamma Chis. you will not be able to miss class and if you do, you will be released from the recruitment process all together. houses can not cut you for not being at a round due to class. personally I would try to schedule all my classes at 3 at the latest.

So if you have to be at the grove by 4. What if your class runs till 5:30?

so you're basically guaranteed to get invited back to the next round if you have to miss their party?? It doesn't make sense to get a free pass but it also doesn't make sense for it to be allowed for houses to cut you when you couldn't even make it to the party. This confuses me

You will be dropped from recruitment if you skip a class. But there are no automatic guarantees you will invited back to the next round to houses where you miss a round.
I would suggest you schedule your classes earlier in the day if you are worried about this.

how exactly would they know if you cut class for rush?
and how bad would it hurt your chances if you did cut class?
I'm scared that I won't be invited back to the next round :/
