recruitment gpa requirements

If a girl goes to summer sessions prior to rush - will those grades be taken into consideration if she is a grade risk? I have a 2.7 at a very tough high school and only intend to go through rush if I can succeed in the summer term- will the sororities look at these grades if I do well?

They won't look at your summer school grades. They will only see your high school transcripts. The rules are spelled out when you register for rush.

If you do jumpstart they look at those grades over your high school GPA

Nope! They will not look at your jumpstart transcripts. I had a 2.9 gpa from high school and a 4.0 for jump start. I was considered a grade risk. They only saw my high school!

It's written in the rules. They try to make it an even playing field. The sororities will see your grades even before jump start begins.

You will meet so many people at Jumpstart and may meet some older girls that really like you!

If your high school is super competitive make sure your rec writers and support letter writers include that in your rec especially if you go to a school that is not really familiar to the chapters here. I went to a high school like that and I know they included that with mine.
