connections

How do out of state girls get connections if they are out-of-state?

I know rush is about 8 weeks into school, would that give us time to get some connections? i don't care about going top tier. I just want to go where I will be happy. I'm a legacy for Phi Mu and have 2 good rec letters for them. I know being a legacy never guarantees a bid but do you think they will at least invite me back for a few rounds?

Also, Would it be okay to go like sorority Facebook pages or Ole Miss Panhellenic? Or should I wait until I send in my stuff?

they will invite you back to at least the first invitational (2nd round) per their legacy rules I'm pretty sure. Check their website for info on legacies bc sororities differ. Please please PLEASE make sure you get 2 rec letters for EVERY SINGLE house, not just your legacy! I made this mistake and it's better safe then sorry!

Liking Ole Miss Panhellenic fb is a good idea to keep up with what's going on but liking individual pages can be iffy, since other houses might see you liked one page and maybe not others.

Most of the sororities have open Facebook pages so you can look at pics without having to "like" the page. All sororities also have open Instagram accounts.
