support letters
by: confused?What is a Support Letter and how is it different from a Rec.? I have Recs for each sorority and now I am working on the letters . Some Alumni have written another Rec. because they had never heard of a Support Letter.

A rec is a form that is sorority specific that the alumni will fill out. The form covers all kinds of basic questions but no really personal information. It is a form letter and you only need one!
A letter of support is just that, an actual letter that an alumni will write introducing you and letting the sorority know how wonderful you are. It is way more personal than a basic form. These letters are usually sent to the alumni writing your rec and attached.
The entire packet is usually sent in all together with the rec on top, résumé, pics, and support letters all together.
