Hello everyone! I am coming in as a out-of-state transfer student. I know my options are very limited.
I visited Ole Miss and fell in love and I would LOVE to be apart of a sorority here.
I am legacy to Phi Mu and I can get two really good recs for them, so hopefully they will invite me back a few rounds but I know the chances of me getting a bid from them is slim to none.
What I am most worried about is connections with ANY Panhellenic sorority. How does an out-of-state student go about getting connections? Would it be okay to "like" Alpha Delta Pi, Phi Mu, Kappa's facebook pages at Ole Miss or no because no one knows who I am.
I have great grades and involvement at my college right now as well.
Any advice would GREATLY be appreciated. Thanks for helping y'all :)

The best way to get a bid from any sorority it to find a chapter alumni who attended ole miss to write your rec. You would be surprised how easy it is to find them. Look everywhere, ask all around. Find recs for all the sororities. Even the top tier ones! If you don't have one, they can't give you a bid, even if they love you.
Don't forget alpha phi is colonizing and are looking for upperclassmen to help them colonize.

get recs and letters from greek alumni for every sorority on the Ole Miss campus. They don't have to be Ole Miss alumni. Check with your local Panhellenic association in your hometown if you need additional help. The greek women you do know probably have friends that are alumni in the other sororities. Ask them.

thanks for your response!! I don't live in the south though, and I have only come across one middle aged person who went to Ole Miss? Do I just call nationals for each sorority and they can help me?
