rushing as a sophomore/junior
by: PNM
Hello all!
I recently visited Ole Miss and I loved it. I'm almost positive this is where I want to transfer.
I go to a community college in the Midwest and I have a 3.9 GPA, tons of extra curricular activities. I'm a fun and upbeat girl!
I'm not sure if I will be a sophomore/junior because of how credits will transfer.
I'm also a legacy to Phi Mu and Kappa!
Let's say I rush as a sophomore, would I have some shot to get with ANY of the sororities on campus? I don't care about tiers, I just want to be wherever I am wanted! Would it be important to mention that I will not be graduating in two years?
Also, do you think with Alpha Phi colonizing, they would extend bids to upperclassmen or no?

Alpha phi will extend tons of bids to upperclassmen! There is no upperclass quota at ole miss, so unless you know girls in other houses, rush might be a little disappointing.
Every house usually extends a few bids to sophomores. Even the top houses. But the majority of the bids will go to freshmen.

Usually lower tier houses dont discriminate and have tons of wonderful members that they love and cherish equally! Alpha Phi will also be on the hunt for quality upperclassmen like you too, so keep your head high and know with a GPA and extra curricular like that you have options!

that makes me really happy to see! I would like to get a bid from Phi Mu or Kappa to carry the legacy on. I know I can get a really good recommendation letter and charm them with my personality. So hopefully, they will invite me back for a few rounds of rush!
I'd be happy and proud to be apart of any sisterhood though! Hotty Toddy!
