KD is not strong nationally at all....third tier sorority at best.
No chapters at Baylor, Tulane, Emory, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, TCU, SMU,West Virginia, Duke, William & Mary, Colorado, Purdue, Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, USC, Pepperdine, UC-Berkeley, Minnesota, Penn, UConn, Arizona, Syracuse,Iowa..... and NO chapters at all in many states and Canada....but chapters at non-academic, division 3 schools in the south that the top sororities won't consider having chapters..

Your first job interviewing out of college you shoukd put all your campus involvement and leadership. That includes your sorority and offices held.
After that it looks silly putting social affiliations on your professional resume. But it helps to belong to a strong sorority alumnae to network after college.

I think you're fooling yourself if you think that your sorority is going to get you a job once you graduate. Yes, you make connections with your sorority but grades and internships are the final factor. I love greek life and I am alumni to a top tier. I am trying to be objective here. KD is strong at Ole Miss and many contacts can be made through KD at Ole Miss. It doesn't matter if KD isn't strong somewhere else. Most graduates are from the South and KD is very strong here. I know KD girls that work in NYC, California and do very well. I agree that listing your accomplishments and community service projects will help you get your very first job but your sorority or fraternity affiliation won't get you the job. Successful employed graduates are strong students that are diverse in all their talents, academic and greek life.

By the way I looked up KD in Texas and no they are not the strongest (and truthfully they are still new in terms of sororities- like 30years old in some schools) but they are doing really well at Texas Tech= they won Deans Cup and Best sorority of the year so its mean to say that KD is not doing well somewhere. They are great and all these organizations are. not sure why someone from Texas is on here but they obviously have something to prove. I will say this if you ok on GR on Zeta in Texas - boy are they not liked- huge self rankers - not sure why- so maybe they are looking for fresh ground to put others down
