by: PNMI know you need at least two recs for every sorority. Can girls in the house write recs? Or just alumni of that sorority? I don' know many girls in sororities, how can I get rec letters?

It sounds like you don't know nearly enough about the rush process to be successful. Google to find sites that can help you navigate what you need to do, and I am NOT talking about Rush Biddies. What a ridiculous waste of money. Use the advice on sites like HerCampus, TheSororityLife, and GreekChat. LOTS of active sorority alumnae on GreekChat who know what they are talking about.
To your question, MOST sororities do not allow active members to write recs at all. Some sororities will allow collegiates to write recs for a chapter on another campus. Generally, recs from sorority alumna who attended Ole Miss carry a bit more weight than a woman who attended another university. Get to work finding recs NOW.
