rushing

by: pnm

Hey y'all! I'm going to be attending Ole Miss next year and I'm SUPER excited for rush. I'm from New Orleans and I go to an all-girl private school. I've been on student council and honor roll and even got a scholarship to attend Ole Miss! I was wondering what my chances at rush would be? Since I'm out of state would that hurt me?

Only hurts when you're from the north, for the most part. Top houses want southern girls. You're from the south, not a problem. You sound like you have a good resume. Just gather your rec letters in the spring and put yourself on as many sorority's radars as possible by contacting the girls you know

As long as you're a good fit you'll find your home in a top house even if you are from the North

Sororities are fickle, who knows what they think when they think the thoughts that throws bids.
Fraternity, you should have no problem.
