DG is good here. They aren't quite top tier but not quite midde tier. It's in between. The ole miss chapter is a big deal nationwide and gets a lot of respect. I think the girls come off as a little snobby but they have a good reputation and are known for being really involved and having good grades.

the classiness and popularity of DG is dying out. they gave out several bids this year to girls who were cut by everyone else and had some nasty incidents at their fall formal. lots of drama in their pledge class too. they have such a good rep because of their legacy on this campus, but its quickly changing.

They're a solid chapter here. They love to win and have lots of girls involved on campus. Had the highest GPA last year and lots of girls in the senate and campus favorites. Last rush was rough for them but they turned up with a decent pledge class, more wild girls than usual. They always have lots of Ms girls and can come off stuck up and cliquey. But overall a great sorority with a good rep

They've gotten too caught up with trying to be top tier and their chapter is hurting because of it. Last year they took a girl who put her whole rush experience on tumblr and talked bad about some houses and other girls going through recruitment. This year they had to give out snap bids. Lately a lot of girls have been choosing Kappa, Phi Mu, or AOPi over them just because the girls are nicer and less stuck up.

it's about time someone said it!!!!! ^^^^ this is the complete truth. so many girls have gone kappa, phi mu, and aopi over DG. and some girls put other houses 1st, but got DG as their second.

But most girls have an idea of what house they "want" before they go through rush. If they have friends in a house, they tend to think they'll get an automatic bid. And @ original poster: You'd be lucky to get a bid to DG.
