by: FreshmanI used greekrank to decide which house I should pref and it turned out to be a huge mistake. I was an oos girl rushing this past fall with little knowledge of ole miss sororities. Rushing was nice because I got to form my own opinions of each house rather than already knowing where I wanted to go and what sorority had what rep. But when it came to deciding between two houses on pref night, I was lost. I read every single rank on my top two houses. I loved them both for different reasons but chose one house because it seemed to be well liked and popular. Not many negative comments about it. My roommate ended up pledging the house I didn't pref. She adores it and I regret not picking it all the time. It's a great house with amazing girls and lots of haters. Moral of the story: greekrank is full of self rankers and bitter girls who agendas.

On this site, you're either taking a beating, or the one responsible for giving one.
That said, I know a ton of really sweet phi mu's. Hard to believe you are unhappy in that house. They were my number two house and I respect the heck out of them.
Maybe your roommate is having more fun in chi o because she puts forth more effort into fitting in.

I chose phi mu over chi o because chi o takes a beating on here. I thought I wouldn't fit in because I'm not from Jackson and that's ehat greekrank says.
