blacks rushing in non african based fraternities

Well I have been really interested in going greek and I already applied to ole miss with 4.2 gpa and a 27 ACT score, but I really don't surround myself with my own race. I grew up in a conservative minded neighborhood my whole life not around many blacks. I just really want to know if it's hard to get into the regular fraternities being black.

There have been and currently are black members in "regular" fraternities. It is important with anyone who does not know anyone in a chapter to network and get to know them before you actually go through rush.
