Yum ... I'm thinking a little more than that and by the time you pay for housing, meals, parking, sorority/fraternity dues you are at the very least in the $20k to $25k range. Just went thru this. My parents wanted me to stay in my home state.

A year or per semester ?
I figure a year?
I can do 20-25 a year. If its a semester Thats gonna make it interesting to say the least.
I mean. I know its gonna cost a lot but from what I've been finding is that Ole Miss is one of the "cheaper" OOS schools.

OOS Freshman living on campus:
Fall semester - $13,100
Spring semester - $12,900

OOS Sophomore living off campus (tuition and fees only):
Fall semester - $9,800

I just looked up my bursar account and this is what my parents paid.

These numbers do not include meals, books, clothing, travel expenses, entertainment or sorority costs.

I think between my parent traveling here and me traveling home we spent another $5,000

Sorority freshmen year was close to $8,000

Clothing and entertainment, if you have to ask, you can't afford it!

Rounding it up to 30,000 a year. Give or take a thousand. Which is doable
So thanks everyone

Ole Miss is very reasonable compared to other major universities. We live in Missouri and pay out of state tuition to go to Ole Miss and it's the same price as going to Mizzou and we get to experience to Grove!!

Yea I've been looking and Im from Florida and have a brother who goes to Alabama and we pay about 40 a year and LSU and Tennessee are around the same. So its nice that Ole Miss is pretty affordable for OOS kids

I'm from Florida too and making the decision to go to Ole Miss was about money. Compared to Alabama, it's very affordable. Also, you get money if you have a 3.0 or higher with high enough SAT and ACT scores. With that money I got my parents are basically paying the same for me whose at Ole Miss and my sister who's at FSU (an instate school)
