Are we allowed to text anyone who is in a sorority this week?? Will I be cut if I just want to text my friend in a sorority to ask her a question. It isn't related to rush...

What about "Silence Period" was confusing to you? If you text your friend and she texts you back, you are potentially causing her to be in huge trouble with her chapter & Panhel. LEAVE HER ALONE. NO TEXTING.

You won't get in trouble, but she will of she replies and gets caught.

This rule is in place for your benefit. You wouldn't want to do or say anything at this point that will cause you to lose out on a bid. And trust me, all it would take is you to slip up and tell your friend how much you enjoyed another sorority and suddenly you're wondering why you got cut. Our easiest cuts are those that are made because we think you would be "happier in another house".

You are allowed to communicate for a few reasons.

(Academic Reasons, She's your actual sister, or work related)
