by: rusheeWhile fishing i seem to go to every house and talking about stuff i and the person I'm talking to have in common, I seem to be boring if i talk about the same old things every other girl is coming to them to talk about.. like grades, philanthropy, swaps, etc.

Honestly we are all a little boring from time to time! We don't care what you talk about as long as it is engaging and we actually talk. You would be surprised by all the girls who answer our questions with one word answers then look back to us to keep the conversation going.
When we ask what dorm you are living in don't just say "Martin". Say something like "Martin, and I'm still getting used to the community bathrooms and having a roommate! Where did you live, how did you adjust?" Keep the conversation going and we will LOVE you.
Talk about your dogs, how much your feet hurt, how you hate eating in the union and can't wait to start having meals with your new sisters, tell us how you tripped just outside our house or how your sticky bra is not sticking anymore..... We don't care, just talk to is like you would talk to a sister. The odder or funnier your stories the more we will remember you.

Okay, boring active I have no idea who you are or what sorority you are in, but I hope that you get the chance to talk to me. This is a great, but stressful experience. And yes, my feet hurt, my bra is sticking, Secret Clinical is my must have accessory, and I have never used a coffee filter to blot my face until,this week!
