xo alumni

So there's one chi o alumni who keeps calling me AND my mom asking how my recruitment is going. She keeps asking me who my favorite house is and asking me if I want her to go to bat for me in the house. She told my mom that she has pull as she is an in-house recruitment advisor. She told me that my name is already on a bid day bag and all I have to do is put chi o first. She actually told me that I've been on their slide show since March and every chi O knows who I am.

Isn't this dirty rushing? I feel bad because there is actually another house that I like better. Should I lie and say chi O is my favorite so I don't get dropped?

Rush is turning out to be not as much fun as I had hoped. It all seems so political.

Omg! You are so lucky to have someone pushing you to the XOs its super hard to get an invite back. Go and lead them on. While you're at it go to kd and ddd too and break their hearts when you reject them for another house. You are so rocking rush. way to go.

Maybe you can make the cut and go xo. I know it's not what you want, but that advisor is so gonna make it happen for you cause they make the decisions. so if everyone else cuts you, you have an option. But if you have any other option, go on with that. I'd hate to see you settle. I'm pretty sure there's about 1500 girls who would be ok with taking that spot your "alumni advisor" is holding for you - so, "let it go". smh

Xo is famous for their alumni choosing their pledge classes. Girls vote yes or no, but the alumni choose the order of the lists. Remember Alabama last year!

Xo can come on here all they want and make fun of you, but the truth is that their alumni are way way way way tooooooooo involved in recruitment.

Isn't this the truth! Chi O's don't pick their pledge classes, their alumni do. Same with KD and DG and even DDD to a certain degree.

Junior and senior KD's don't even have to attend rush workshops unless they are officers. That shows you that they don't even bother voting.
