by: pnmhas anyone ever used a rush coach, like rush biddies....how do they get girls into the sororities that they want? Are these coaches worth it?
#1by: trust me
Cheaper and more likely to get bids by getting your rec letters in to the sororities.
Have your parents reach out to people in your churcb/community for letters of rec. Hell, call the local ole miss alumni association and fish around.
YOU NEED AT LEAST TWO LETTERS PER SORORITY, THE MORE THE BETTER.

If you are waiting until now to ask for help, you are way way too late!
A rush coach hired last year could have help you network, but if you haven't don't anything yet, you are at a huge disadvantage! They might be able to help you come up with good answers to standard questions you might be asked during rush, but we will be able to pick out staged answers!
They might help you pick out your rush wardrobe, but in order to find a good fit in a house, you really need to be yourself and wear clothes you picked out for yourself.

Save your money and spend it on your clothes. Ask your local alumnae panhellenic to help you with assistance if you still can't locate your recs. If an alum is really kind and nice and eager to speak with you and seems receptive.... you might want to just ask her if she would be willing to do some "mock interviewing" or mock rushing with you. You can also ask her to go over your wardrobe & attire if you think she has good taste. Chances are, she would be flattered if you ask for her help.

To the person who sent SIX rec letters to each house-- THAT is probably why you got cut, or because you weren't a desirable PNM. Ladies, quality is much more important than quantity when it comes to those letters. Rush Chairs are receiving THOUSANDS of recruitment recommendations, do not inundate them with more unnecessary paper, one is necessary, two is appropriate, but not at all required of you. These recruitment chairs will notice those that are TOO eager, and it will not be appreciated. It is more important that the person writing your recommendation still has connections or clout within the chapter, and preferably attended Ole Miss.

I had at least six to each and still experienced a few cuts!
However, if you only have one, make sure it is from an alumnae from ole miss. Their recs hold more water.
