Pre-recruitment interactions

Hi! I'm a PNM coming from out of state (not the South) with no connections. I'm hearing about a lot of girls attending zoom sessions with various sororities and some receiving postcards. I haven't had much interaction although I have a strong resume, grades & test scores - pretty sure I have all of my recs in. Is the lack of sororities reaching out a big deal? I'm open minded about recruitment and confident that I can connect well in person, but this is getting in my head a bit especially with a more virtual recruitment. Any advice? Thanks!

Isn’t zoom zoom an ADPi thing? Seems like maybe you are trying to expose something you think is dirty rushing.

Don’t worry!!! I never had anyone in a sorority comment on my pics. That doesn’t mean they aren’t watching. And the girls who do attend these things... yikes. It’s either that house or nothing if other houses find out

The zoom zoom was only in reference to the zoom calls - nothing to read into. I didn't know that a sorority used that phrase. I also wasn't trying to imply that there was anything dirty about it.
