How could ADPi be above any other chapter yet?

DG and KD are not top tier! They are both top of the middle tier and kappa is closing in on the ranks! Of course, if chi o has another pledge class like the one they got this year, not only will they drop from top tier, but they will be gulping for air at the bottom!

^^ to Ummm. You are bashing them by always placing them last! I am asking honestly, why? What do you mean,"there is nowhere else to put them."? How about on par with Pi Phi, AOP at least? How can you place ADP above them while ADP was below them when ADP folded back in the day? There is no way you can legitimately place a re-chartered chapter above one that has maintained a strong presence in a very, very competitive Greek system in their 35 year young history! Theta deserves to be at least alongside Pi Phi, AOP, Phi Mu, DG, and possibly Kappa. Theta is simply very diverse in their membership. Is that what drives you ladies crazy?

So, if I understand you correctly,"Why", you are basing your feelings about the sisterhood of Theta upon "the 100 other posts where all the reasons and all the answers (I)am looking for are in" and upon "the reputation that theta has"? So, you must place someone last and you are doing that upon those reasons? First of all, I have read and re-read the 100 other posts and quite frankly there isn't a shred of solid evidence presented against those ladies other than very nebulous accusations that I can't see how anyone can back up. "He who is without sin, cast the first stone". Because I have also read in the "100 other posts" that every sorority has it's "sins". Right? Why are you so eager to give passes to the other 9 sororities for their serious indiscretions some of which have been named? If you are a freshman, then you have no solid basis to judge Theta other than hearsay and gossip and this you admit. I am honestly asking for facts upon which this bad reputation seems to be built.So, it seems that there are a whole lot of you out there that simply want Theta to fail and for some reason enjoy tearing her sisters down and apart! Now, if it is simply for personal preferences that you didn't care to be a member of KAT, then that I can understand and agree with you. We don't all feel comfortable with every group and every group isn't for us. But, don't spend you energy trying to take away the incredible sisterhood and friendships that many, many Thetas have with one another.

Thank you for clarifying. I appreciate you taking the time to do so. I absolutely respect your opinion, viewpoints, and decisions. I would never bash someone for being different than me. I am sorry if I stated my words in such a way that caused you to receive them that way. That was not at all what I intended to do. I wouldn't criticize you for your choice of friends because that is precisely what I am asking you not to do with those young ladies in Theta. If you feel comfortable with your house and choice of friends being so much like you, then that is what is best for you, and obviously many other women like you. I respect that. But, there are others that desire to leave behind the comfort zone of similar friends of high school and are looking to broaden their horizons. They want to be stretched a little. I understand that kind of battle just isn't your bailiwick. So, I am just asking that others not automatically assume Thetas are rejects and outcasts based on just perception. As for "ask any guy on campus"..really? My response is that is their problem! Have you ever asked them why they think that? Everyone should stop being so judgmental and relying on preconceived ideas and prejudices. Take time to actually get to know some Thetas. Try to become a genuine friend to a Theta. If you still have the same opinion, then at least you gave it an honest effort and will actually have a solid, personal basis upon which your opinion rests.

Okay, I want some answers here too. It seems that the gossip wheel goes round and round and pnms accept it as truth. How could a sosority that has survived on a campus as competitive as Ole Miss (while others folded),ZTA being one, and then ADPi folded and now recolonized, not be respected. To be honest, you really don't hear about Thetas having "incidents," to put it mildly, like some of the perceived top tier sororities have. So how could they not be respected. I personally haven't any of them looking like rejects or social outcasts. Did something happen to Theta over the years? They've been on campus since 1979 and surpassed ZTA, ADPi, AOPi, and even Pi Phi during the 80's and 90's. I'm just curious. Seriously, what happened that would cause them to be perceived this way in the rumour/gossip mill?

^^^^ I see what you did there-you evaded my questions. How do you so easily give free passes to "top tier" sororities for their "incidents" or indiscretions for which there are obviously proofs, but you have only hearsay and perceptions upon which to rely concerning Theta. And, tradition, long history, and strong alum support are enough in your mind to overlook or deny those indiscretions in those sororities, but the same standard doesn't apply to Theta? How is that?
And ^ is 100% correct!Her facts are accurate so we all deserve to know upon what basis these rumors are being perpetuated. Something just doesn't add up! Let's be real.
Perception is responding in a very mature fashion. Thank you! Let's all pull together to make each and every house on campus be the best it can be and reach maximum potential! Surely, we don't have to tear down! This has to be of overall benefit for the Greek system and Panhellenic.

Lemme get this straight...if you pull your pants down and pee, you're respected. If you leave a bloody "sister" and don't help her up, you're respected, but if you behave like a lady, you're considered a social outcast and a reject. Man, does Mississippi have it backwards.

Lets be honest here every house a group of great, sweet, pretty girls. Its hard to say which should be ranked above the other but if i were to write it i would write
KD/ XO/DG/DDD
Kappa/Phi Mu/ AOTT
Pi Phi/ Theta/ADPi

KD- I've met ones I don't care for and ones that i think are pretty great girls. However, overall they are a good sorority.
XO- A lot of my friends went Chi-o and i love how a lot of them are strong free spirits.
DG-I have not met a DeeGee i haven't liked. They are one of the nicest group of girls on campus. Very classy and refined.
DDD- ehh, like a few of them. some of them are kind of stand-offish. Some are mean and some are nice. a good mixture of girls. A beautiful group of girls though.
Kappa-I've met some great ones. They put on a very good rush every year. Definitely doing well as a chapter the past 2 years.
Phi Mu- They always have a smile on their face, they love their sorority, and they love to have a good time. Congrats on HC queen this year.
AOTT- funny, pretty, and have moved up since the new pledge class. They are different in a cool way.
Pi phi- half of these girls are great,sweet, pretty,smart.the other half of these girls are a hot mess.To the hot mess half, Take it down a notch.
Theta- good mixture of girls. some are wild, but fun. They have improved a lot in the past 3 years.
ADPi- got 300+ girls and off to a great start.
