So where I’m from the best sorority or the “top” sorority is Alpha Phi. But reading all the comments for Ole Miss it sounds like they’re not known for having a very good reputation. Agree/Disagree? If you had to “stereotype” them, what would it be?

If my high school GPA is a 2.9 unweighted and 3.4 weighted, am I not allowed to rush in the fall?

No one is not allowed to rush because of grades. That is against NPC rules.

There is not a GPA requirement for rushing, although sororities will consider GPA to a point, connections is the real factor in recruitment. Alpha Phi has a 2.88 GPA average which is the lowest and KD has the highest with a 3.43 average. Most of the sororities are in the 3.21 to 3.29 range.

I think it's worth going through recruitment, all of our sororities are good (regardless of the trolls constantly ranking on here).

Anyone can rush. Not everyone will get a bid. With a 2.9 GPA, you have to be spectacular in other ways to get a bid.
