We didn't close because we were bullied. No need to play the blame game. We left because we hard a hard time getting and keeping girls.
Us Theta girls will be OK. Of course we would have liked to been an active chapter, but we aren't. But guess what? That isn't going to change the great friends I've made here and we will continue to be friends regardless of if we are an active chapter or not.
What does hurt is the whole recruitment process. We work very hard before and during rush (as do all other chapters!) and when you bid a girl and the day she finds out she's a Theta she drops. Knowing how hard you worked during rush and the girl doesn't even give you a shot, she just drops the day she reads Theta on her note card. That hurts. It really does.

Hate to disagree with a sister but who stared all the tent talk? Who said what to make PRM's think they would be better of dropping than to be a Theta? But you are right, we are a great sisterhood and we have made lifetime friends.
So don't feel sorry for us now, but rather use this as a learning experience for the next sorority that you decide to demean for years.

I disagree too. The reason girls drop immediantly drop or don’t give theta a chance is because of the bullying and them being told it’s better to be nothing than be a theta. It’s because of the negative attitude both on and off this site. There is bullying. There is meanness. There is negativity.
