outta here
by: honestIf you were born here and consider yourself Mississippi rich and your goal in life is to join the Jackson junior league then this place is for you. Otherwise, those sweet southern girls are super catty to each other, competitive for no reason, and think they’re hot in their caked on makeup, giant tassel earrings which are out of style but are too isolated to know and fake Gucci accessories. The town is pretty but so are a lot of other college towns with better bars and shopping. The sorority houses are nice but not when you compare them to other SEC houses. Tailgating at the Grove? Hate to tell you but all SEC schools tailgate in similar style. If you want real tailgating try SMU. I don’t consider a bunch of camp chairs, decorated cookies, and sausage rolls thrown on a silver tray to be the end all of Tailgate parties. But hey if your Mississippi rich and that’s all you know then I guess it’s good. It’s like being stuck in a small town high school where they just will never know there is a bigger and better world out there. If you’re not from Mississippi don’t bother coming here.

Lmao at SMU tailgating. GTFOH with that. College football fans across the nation have all heard about and have The Grove on their bucket list. No one, and I mean no one has SMU tailgating or a game on anything but a list of things to avoid. Yeah I can’t wait to tailgate outside a little high school stadium with 2500 other small timers. Sounds fun.
The complainers that bash Ole Miss can’t make it here socially. Period. End of story. Hit the road losers.
#12by: I don't even go here
But I'd like to tailgate in the grove. Didn't go to a DI school never had the DI game experience. If I had to choose a school for a football game and tailgate it would be Ole Miss. The other one would be an Army-Navy game, but that's a different experience all together. The Lehigh-Lafayette 150 game would have been cool too, even though it was a one-off.
So yes, your gameday experience is one that's known around the country for college football fans. I live in new england.\n\n\n\n\n

I respectfully disagree with you! I totally understand where you're coming from, but I think that Ole Miss is what YOU make it! If you stay obsessed with images, than maybe that is what you think. But, if you let your guard down and realize that we're all just one big Ole Miss family then you will see that that isn't true at all! I have seen girls from Jackson become best friends with girls from NYC. And, i've seen girls from Spain become best friends with girls from Hattiesburg. Seriously, anything is possible at Ole Miss and posts like this make potential Ole Miss students afraid that that is not the case. If anyone reading this is considering going to Ole Miss but hesitant too, because they don't have connections, my advice is too do it anyways! You will see once you get there that so many people are in the exact same boat that you are.
