Congrats to the new PC!
Without further ado, let's get to the RANKINGS!
TOP:
(1) DDD- top. struggled a bit the past few years and some even considered them sharing the top seed with KD, but they picked up the ball this year and they are the clear top seed.
(2) KD - very few good picks, lot of meh. overall good, but no longer a threat to DDD and this PC will silence anyone considering them along with DDD
(3) XO - same ole same ole inbreeds. but this years inbreeds were actually some what good. one of the better XO PCs in a while. people will still question why they are top, but they are.
MID:
(4) Kappa - very solid PC the past two years. This PC separated themselves from DG and PhiMu. Stole a few of DGs goods. Clearly the top of mid tier.
(5-tie) DG - should have spent more time recruiting girls instead of self ranking themselves as top. Had a hard time landing few cheerleaders who were non-legacies that went elsewhere. Insta feed blew up with DG and ADPi posts but none of the DGs girls looked impressive.
(5-tie) Phimu - usually great girls who don't make noise. Some solid picks. They aren't braggy or show-offy.
(7) Piphi - very quite. very few insta posts.
(8) Aopi - was threatening to bump them to bottom tier before this year, but a solid PC this year. It's what will keep them in mid tier (for now)
Bottom:
(9) Aphi - knew which girls were going aphi just based on insta pics before it happened. Same ole same ole story here. Was going to push them to mid tier before PC but they didn't do anything impressive with their PC (wasn't bad, but just wasn't impressive - i.e. steal girls from kappa/dg/phimu trio). Give them another year and they'll be mid tier
(10) Adpi - after one good PC when they got their new house, they really struggled since. Other PCs were just a group of randoms. BUT this changed this year. They use to be the second to last one picked. Some very solid picks. Was most impressed with Adpi and DDD. Adpi did steal a few girls from aopi/aphi which is impressive. Still second to last (due to few years of bad picks) but will PCs like this I could see them in a mid tier in a few years.
(11) Theta - Use to be for weridos but the last few PCs had some solid picks. Same with this year. They are slowly getting away of their mold of the weirdos. They are still last and seems like it for the foreseeable future, but they are slowly losing their mold of the werido sorority.
Overall a good PC, not great, but very good.
Trending up: DDD, XO, kappa, aopi, adpi, theta
Steady: KD, Phimu, Piphi, Aphi
Treading down: DG

In response to ? below. Yes, it is our daughter's experience and you become concerned when the student is not excited about the choice that was left. but their very last choice keeps popping up and then ends up being the only choice they get. Really?! I just don't understand (neither did my daughter) how did a legacy with a 4.0 and in a program at Ole Miss where only a small percentage actually get in .
In response to Yesiamamom, Yes, I am disappointed because she was disappointed. Yes, I think it is better to drop out and hope for a COB or rush next year. My daughter didn't she felt like she had to pick something and it didn't help that her rush counselor was in the sorority that she got the only bid from. She didn't want to tell her and hurt her feelings. She signed and then I guess they revealed who they were. They should wait until Bid Day.

Hey, I’m a theta. I’d just like to tell you that honestly no one really cares on campus. This site is honestly dumb. I’d recommend your daughter stay for a bit and see how she feels as she has til initiation before she can drop and still rerush. I’m very similar to your daughter in like school stats and what not so I do get it. Theta i has been very good to me and at the very least I’d recommend she stay for a bit longer at the very least til y’all have to start paying dues so she can actually get a feel for it.

Theta is a great sorority and she will be happy to be a part of Ole Miss Greek Life. Theta has always been a strong OOS sorority which just confuses the Mississippi Moms. There are a few frats (again Mississippi frats) that are judgmental, but they're all kind of creepy anyway. I use to look at the Theta Facebook page occasionally when I was going through recruitment and they would spotlight a member each week. Those members were very involved and probably had amazing resumes. Plus Theta is a very strong National sorority, so after these short 4 or 5 years of college they could more than likely be involved in a really strong alumni chapter if they wanted too.

Yesiamamom in my humble opinion you should not be disappointed. If your daughter is disappointed be supportive and encouraging. This is her school life. Cry with her, laugh with her and love her. She will be alright. The most important thing is her education and what she does with that. There are many many successful happy women who never belonged to a sorority. The most important thing is that she is happy and if being a Theta doesn't make her happy then she should not be a Theta, sorry it seems simply to me. I just wanted to give my opinion, so let the bashing begin.

Dear Tri Delta mom,
This is absolute rubbish. I actually go here and was at bid day. I have great friends in several groups and will share what They told me. Everyone on the row got most of the girls THEY wanted.
We'll start with Tri Delt. They had a very similar class to the last two years--very random. Very legacy heavy although they lost a top legacy to another group. They also made some surprising choices (dare I say risky choices). Definitely not the top pledge class but not the worst. The actives I spoke with weren't overjoyed. I would say the pledge class ranks 4th or 5th.
KD: Strong class. Went heavy for OOS this year and got some great girls. Did a lot of cross rushing with DG this year. Lots of PNMs had the KD/DG combo for pref. Lost 2 top legacies. The actives I spoke with were very happy with the new class.
DG: As mentioned above, there was a lot of cross rushing with KD this year. They got the cheerleaders they wanted (including a KD legacy). They missed on the rebelette they wanted (she went KD). Went for top girls from small towns in MS this year and also some great OOS. The actives were very happy.
XO: seemed to branch our more this year and actives were pleased but moms weren't apparently. Good group overall.
KKG: very solid group. Mostly OOS. Actives were thrilled. They have definitely found a niche.
I really don't know people in the other groups so I won't judge. All I know is that DDD mom (OP) is completely wrong. I believe KD, DG, XO and KKG had better pledge classes than DDD based on the information I got from actives).

As a guy at ole miss this is pretty accurate. The top three are fair and then u could throw kappa on there depending on who u ask. Dg really is mid tier idk why they seem to be top on a bunch of ranks. But yeah I have a lot of friends that went chi o tri delt and even kd. Super happy for them

You're not a guy. If you are, this is sad. You are most likely the Tri Delt mom who originally posted, which is more sad. Be happy with your class instead of trying to justify why they are so good. And I agree that KKG and DG should be in the mix when discussing top tier. I think KD is great. I don't think XO and DDD are all they are hyped up to be honestly (wide mix of girls).

op is totally a mom but lets be real. kd ddd xo kkg pm and dg might go for slightly different girls but there were 300-400 or so pnms that all/most top sororities knew about and prepared for, even if it was just "she'll probably go elsewhere but let's prep for her just in case". and even in that group of 300-400 you know the difference between "our absolute top choice" vs "let's meet her and see". all you really have to do is see how many of those girls you got and where the rest landed. i have my own opinion about how houses did and all it did was seeing who we got and who went somewhere else.

Maybe they were riding a broom around yesterday! The girls in my house have been busy for months trying to learn about the PNM's and this person got to know everyone in every house in just a few hours.....amazing!!!

I think all of the houses did an amazing job with recruitment. I noticed ADPi pulled an impressive pledge class this year (as did other houses) but this house stuck out the most to me with the new cheerleaders and quality girls I have seen. Definitely agree with it being a house on the rise

Before everyone says hey Mom. I am not a Mom.
Ranking after Recruitment:
KD- smart at recruitment and mix lots of quality OOS with in-state
Chi-O/Tri Delt- (even though Tri D has a weird pledge grouping this year). Chi O has the naturally pretty girls, no make-up, no pizazz in their dress.
DG- (sorry DG but you lost some girls to other sororities, especially those cheerleader types you love)
Kappa/Phi Mu (these two got the beautiful girls- Kappa took some of DG’s selections and dang if Phi Mu didn’t take some MS girls Chi-O wanted and some OOS southern girls that Kappa wanted). Kappa went more brunette this year, Phi Mu got all the pretty blondes.
ADPi- completely stole the show this year. Pretty OOS girls. Congrats!
Pi Phi- some pretty and high GPA OOS girls, will have high retention.
AOPi- same story got some pretty OOS girls, they also did well ok recruitment. They come in second behind ADPi on improvement!
Theta- congrats Theta, you also had a good recruitment. They got some nice girls, hopefully they give them a chance. Theta is a wonderful sorority.
The OOS southern girls are strong and some of the “top tier” keep cutting them (Tri Delt and DG) and making sororities like ADPi, Kappa and Phi Mu soar. In my opinion, these three and maybe KD took those beautiful southern OOS girls. KD has got the recruitment game won.

Alpha Phi.........lol. It will be hard to surpass KD, Chi Omega, Tri Delta, Delta Gamma, Phi Mu and Kappa. Strongholds will stay strongholds. End of story.

It is your daughters sorority experience, not yours. It doesn't matter at all how you feel about the house.
