recs

If you do not get recs for most houses. Will you be dropped after the first round or will they not realize until later? And should I pick those that I did not get Recs for to not really fall in love with because I could potentially be dropped?

you can be potentially dropped from any sorority so just don't get attached to any of them at first

You do need rec for most houses and you can be dropped for not having one. For the top houses you need connections, connections, connections, most likely in the form of Ole Miss legacy/recommendation. For the middle tier you need outstanding resume, rec and GPA. For the bottom tier should have recs, good resume and preferably a GPA that will improve their chapter GPA.

You need them to make it past the first round for many chapters. At least half. Be prepared to take every invitation you get back seriously, and be prepared for heavy cuts.
