Will being in a sorority help get me out of my shell more? I'd like to say that I'm a little shy and am wondering if I should even rush...

Being in a sorority will help get you out of your shell but only if you put in the effort. There are plenty of opportunities to socialize and interact but when you're just one out of a huge pledge class it can also be easy to just go through the moves or hide.
