archive oxford vs u club townhomes vs retreat phase 2
by: grad studentgoing to grad school at OM in the fall, and looking for the best option for NEW housing. would like to be decently close to campus, private room, and $750 a month or so

i mean this isn't the place for this.
almost everything in oxford is decently close to campus. almost everything has a private room.
i was at the retreat last year, it's definitely not a grad school type of place. generally speaking, any apartments with extras (pools, gyms, etc.) is going to be flooded with sophomore undergrads.
i'd look at reviews but take it with a grain of salt, almost every apartment has bad reviews...if it was good they wouldn't bother taking their time to review it. and an apartment doesn't compare to your parents home (loud, cheap, etc) so take it with a grain of salt.
Oxford has mostly a bit above avg, some avg and some below avg. nothing great and nothing horrible

Just to clarify, Solo is different from Solo 2. Solo is for folks living alone as opposed to having a roommate. If I'd known about it, I would have lived there, and I'm a grad student.

I don't know much about Uncommon. They look nice and are brand new. I think they would be a bit further from the Square but would be closer to school. Kind of located between the two. It's a good location. Not knowing anyone there, I can't say more, but they do look nice.
