These 2 sites are completely different. If you want legit "how to handle rush" advice or chapter advice go to greekchat. Don't post. There's enough info there that you can find almost any answer to any question. If you want ridiculousness with some good advice mixed in, come here. But it's not like this place is any less rude, judgey or lectury. We have our old biddies too!

I think Greekchat gets the more professional old biddy Trolls, where this site gets the stay at home housewife Trolls.

GR is chill and mostly gets ranking and rumor trolls. GC is full of old head trolls from bottom tier houses who take Greek Life waaaay too seriously but don't even realize we make fun of them.

Greekchat tends to have more information. Greekrank, at least on the Ole Miss page, seems to be a constant ranking battle between the top tier Moms/alums. How long as this KD, DDD, Chi-O thing been going on? And throw DG in there just for fun. It seems like it's a matter or life or death.

i think greekrank is "chill" in the sense that everyone knows that the stuff here is insane and obviously shouldn't be taken too seriously. at least i don't know anyone who takes the stuff they read seriously. greek chat i'm less familiar with but the one time i tried asking a question i got yelled at and a bunch of old hens started piling on. it's no surprise that place is dead.

Good advice. The most important part of @Me's comment was "don't post" on GC. Just go to GreekChat and look, you'll find what you need without the condescending attitude from the old timey Greek lifers.
