cuts after sisterhood???
by: pnm2017are a lot of girls cut after sisterhood?? I only have two houses left and I love both of them but I don't think I really let either of them know how excited I was to be there. Are the girls invited back for sisterhood the ones the sorority really wants or should I be worried that I might be dropped from the entire process???

The max number of parties goes from 5 to 2 so over half the pnms who attended each chapter's Sisterhood won't be back for Pref. It's a mix of chapters releasing more pnms and how pnms rank their Sisterhood parties.
Short answer- just because you were invited to Sisterhood does not mean you're guaranteed a Pref invitation. We have no way of knowing where you rank on each chapter's list.

I didn't say that every chapter will cut more than half...I said that pref will have about half the attendees that Sisterhood did. BIG difference.
All of these scenarios will happen tonight:
PNM 1's rankings:
1. ABC
1. DEF
2. GGG
3. MN
4. XYZ
All 5 chapters have her on their Pref invite list. She prefs ABC and DEF and does not return to the other 3, thus reducing the number of pnms going back to those chapters.
PNM 2's rankings:
1. ABC
1. GGG
2. DEF
3. XYZ
4. MN
ABC and XYZ release her. She prefs GGG and DEF and does not return to MN, reducing the number of pnms going back to MN.
PNM 3's rankings:
1. ABC
1. DEF
2. XYZ
3. GGG
4. MN
ABC, DEF and XYZ release her. She prefs GGG and MN.
In the above scenario,
ABC releases 2 of 3 pnms and 1 pnm accepts their Pref invitation
DEF releases 1 of 3 pnms and 2 pnms accept their Pref invitations
GGG invites 3 of 3 pnms back and 2 pnms accept their Pref invitation
MN invitees 3 of 3 pnms back and 1 pnm accepts their Pref invitation
XYZ releases 2 of 3 pnms and 1 pnm accepts their Pref invitation.
All pnms attended the same Sisterhood parties but their Pref invites are a lot different- partly due to chapters releasing and partly due to the invitations they accepted via ranking. 2 chapters released 2 of 3 women and 2 chapters invited all 3 back.

Yeah, I have no idea what @Me did with two #1 choices in her example. Gotta be a typo because you don't put two houses at number one ever.

Your 1 & 2 rankings don't matter so I just called them 1's.. If the next round (Pref) is 2 parties and either invite you back, you go. It's how you rank after 2 that really matters- i.e. "If I don't get invited back to my 2 favorites, my next choice is this. Then this. Then this."
Same with previous rounds- if you had 8 for Philanthropy, it didn't matter which order you ranked your top 5 for Sisterhood. If any of them invited you back, you went. But 6,7,and 8 rankings were the specific order in which you would prefer to return to the other 3 houses.
The only time a PNM's specific ranking matters is after Pref. Your #1 is your #1 and if you bid match to them, you'll run home there.

This is so inaccurate. Some chapters may cut more than half, yet some chapters won't. Quit spreading fear and fake news.
