sisterhood ranking
by: Freshman rebelI got invited back to 4 houses this round...1 is my top pick...the other two are good, also...the fourth one has been at the bottom of my list each time...is there anything I can do to discourage them from keeping me on their list...I visited their house today and was polite but didn't act like I was really interested...should I have just been upfront and told them I was not interested?

i would never be rude to anyone...I just didn't want to take up someone's spot that might really feel at home at that house. I wasn't certain what protocol was as far as discouraging a certain house. As I said, I was polite just not encouraging.

There's a chance the sorority you tried to discourage could become your future home. You can't have met every member of that sorority so it would be impossible to decide you didn't like that one based on meeting a few of their sisters. It is true that everyone will have houses they like better than others, but I personally think it's not a good idea to 'discourage' a house from liking you - that could come back to bite you.

Good grief...lighten up, she said she wasn't rude...it's a legit question...she doesn't want to keep someone from getting a spot in a house that she doesn't feel a connection to...that's why we have to rank...some we feel connections with and other we don't!
