I am a Chi O and Phi Mu legacy. Phi Mu cut me but still have Chi O so far. But I have not really made a connection at Chi O and am not sure I will be happy there and it seems like 13th grade. . I really like another sorority more. Do I pref Chi O if they don't cut me just so I can be in a higher ranking sorority?

Don't write Chi-O off yet. It's too early to base your decision on meeting a few of girls during recruitment. Chi-O is a well respected sorority National and on campus. Just go in with an open mind and everything will work out.

I was cut from Chi o in the first rounds. But girls on my floor that still have them are not loving them.

Come on- that comment was uncalled for- leading me to believe you are either 1. a very bitter person or 2. a mom. Either way def. uncalled for.

Chi-O is a great sorority as is every other one on this campus.

Can we all please stop with putting other houses down and making comments like the above?

To original poster- if you are on the fence stick with them and I will say Pref can change your mind- if you really love another house go with your gut feeling.

You can't be cut by phi mu - if you are a legacy. By nationals legacies are required to stay for philanthropy round. Required. Itd the same way for most houses here.

Phi mu legacies are only mothers, grandmothers and sisters. And we can't cut legacies until AFTER philanthropy per nationals. So if you were actually a legacy, which I doubt you were, you couldn't have been cut. Legacies must be in GOOD standing too. So I'm not lying. You are sorry

The fact is that you are getting WAY ahead of yourself. You are required to attend EVERY party that you are invited to. You are not cutting any chapters. You are simply ranking the ones you would prefer to attend.

If you get an invitation to pref at Chi O, you GO to Pref at Chi O and behave politely. Then you have a decision to make when signing your MRABA (bid card) after Pref.
