rentention rates

I keep reading and hearing about retention rates.
Is that the number of PNMs who wanted to return to the sorority during rush?
Is it the number of people who stay in a sorority after they get initiated?

I asked an active from another school and she said those numbers were private so she didn't know why it would be publically discussed. Does anyone know what this is??

Just ignore all the return rate talk. The returns rates will not be released or discussed. Each sorority will be given information for THEIR sorority but not a list of the others, and that information will change as the week progresses. All of the sororities are going to have great 'return' rates.
