finding your home

It's hard to read all the negative posts on this site, but I am happy to see there were so many positive posts from yesterday! I hope all the PNMs going through recruitment have a fun week and I sure hope you find your sorority home by the end of it. I also want to say that every Sorority on this campus has worked hard to get ready for recruitment. Members gave up part of their summer to prepare for this week so that PNMs could have an amazing recruitment experience. So before you come on a site like this one please be thoughtful of the effort that was taken to offer you a chance to find your sorority home. Every sorority is looking for their new sisters to join their family, and each one deserves respect. Don't worry if you have an awkward conversation, it happens. Don't worry if you say something stupid - it happens. Just relax and enjoy the opportunity to be a part of the Ole Miss Greek Life experience.

I have really had fun so far. I got 3 back and I really like all three of them. I am nervous about the rest of the week, but I know at the end of it I will find my home.

Best advice! Definitely dont worry about ranks or what other girls are saying either. Find the house that makes YOU happy and the girls YOU click with!

Thank you! This catty, back-biting nonsense has nothing to do with why I joined a sorority or what we (actives of PNMs) should be busy with! Sisterhood, social life, philanthropy -- not of those stated objectives of a sorority include vicious gossip or being mean girls. I've seen the movie. Don't want to live it.
